Covered in the Word: The Deliverance Prayer Blanket
O LORD, hear my cry! I humble myself before You. I pray and seek Your face. I turn from my sinful ways. You do not reject my broken and repentant heart. Hear me and deliver me from my troubles. I have been delivered from the power of darkness and brought into the kingdom of Your beloved Son, Jesus. Sin has no dominion over me. I stand firm in my freedom in Christ Jesus. I refuse to submit to the yoke of slavery to sin again. I present myself to You as an instrument of righteousness. Be pleased, O God, to deliver me and make haste to help me! In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
The Covered in the Word Prayer Blanket Series is specifically covered in Scripture-sourced prayer. Prayer Blankets are intentionally prepared for their bearers:
- Every blanket is to be washed to clean the outside world away.
- Every blanket is to be anointed with frankincense oil and prayed over.
- Every blanket is to be placed in a worship soaking room for a minimum of 24 hours before being sent to its owner.
- Every blanket will arrive with a prayer card with the specific Scriptures used in its prayer to help the bearer meditate on the Word while they pray.
The Covered in the Word Prayer Blankets are not in and of themselves powerful. They are vessels that help to convey the power of the Holy Spirit, are infused with the Word of God, and help the bearer focus in prayer. God is faithful!
